Writer and visual artist born in Armenia, Colombia, in the heart of the country's coffee belt. Her work explores the intersections between literature and the visual arts through the narrative of her region; her projects examine nature, land and language from both a documentary and metaphorical perspective. Her background in journalism and philosophy has enriched her work with dialogues that weave the real and the speculative, adding layers of meaning to her stories and to the media through which they are presented.

Since 2025, she has been a scholarship recipient in the Master’s program in Visual, Electronic, and Time-based Arts at Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. Her work has been published in Colombia, Spain, Italy, Mexico, the United States, France, and Canada. She is a two-time winner of the Te Muestra Award for written chronicle and the Ciudad Paz Youth Award; she also received an honorable mention for the Michael Jacobs Fellowship from the GABO Foundation. She was recognized as a featured researcher by DW Akademie and was recently a two-time fellow at the Under the Volcano literary residency in Tepoztlán.

She currently works as a freelance text editor and conceptual consultant for printed and digital editorial projects with media outlets across Colombia, France, and Mexico.
